Well the first quote kind of gives support to both theories. After the necklace was out, no one was informed of it, even though Snape knew about it. This brings up suspicions that he is actually working for Voldemort. He did tell Draco it could have blown everything, because he knew it was dangerous. Physically dangerous, meaning people on the good-side could be hurt. I think that is what he meant. He could have had this in mind to protect them. That quote, I think, has some significance because it could go either way really, and has points for both sides.
"We decided to put the Dark Mark over the tower and get you to hurry up here, to see who'd been killed," said Malfoy. "And it worked!" "Well...yes and no..." said Dumbledore (HBP Page 590 American Version)
This quote gives points to the innocent side because it supports the theory that it was a plotted death, and that Dumbledore planned it. Yes - It did work because Dumbledore went up to the tower like they had planned. It didn't work because Dumbledore is already informed of what's supposed to happen. Dumbledore says he needs to see Snape immediately. This could also support both theories, because it could be Dumbledore's way of getting to Snape to have him perform the murder, but it could also be so that Snape could give him a cure for the poison that could have possible been involved in solving the Horcrux. It could have been Dumbledore's way of getting to Snape without telling Harry the plan of the killing, because we all know Harry would strongly oppose and make sure that it wouldn't happen. Harry wouldn't understand why it needed to happen.
We have the feeling Snape had a rough childhood, something that spits out the bitterest of adults. Why would Snape switch sides from Voldemort at such personal risk? Then of course, there is the theory he used an Unforgivable Curse, which you have to mean for it to work. I think we have to rule this out though, because he could have produced from his hatred of having to kill and perform the task at hand.
So who is Severus Snape actually playing for? I think the facts for him being innocent, and this being a thought out, plotted murder outweigh the fact that he is guilty. JKR is such a great writer because of the things like this. She makes sure that there is no leaning one way. There really are no clues that give it away. All the quotes from the book have points that support both theories.
