Seeing how Hogwarts Magic is about two years old, the history of the site is very short. In the years to come, however, this portion of the website will continue to grow!

Webmasters Training:
At the age of 10 Chris started to make Harry Potter websites on AOL Hompage, a website building software provided by AOL. After about two years there he went up to Geocities another Website maker provided by Yahoo! After two years of that and no luck with running websites, he went to running Forums and trying to be sucessfull that way but was not. So after a year of trying on the forums and not succeding i was invited by the Previous Webmaster Phillip to be the co-webmaster of Hogwarts Magic where i was co-webmaster of an actually sucessful website for about a year then i (chris) took over because Phillip, the previous webmaster didn't have enough time in his busy schedule to be online at all.

Hogwarts Magic As of July 3, 2004
First off, the name Hogwarts Magic has always been the name of the site. For some reason, the previous webmaster (Phillip) loved the name and thought that it should stay like that. This version of Hogwarts Magic had one navigation area and a banner and a place for content. That's all. The site remained on the Internet for about a month or two when Phillip decided to rip it off. For the next several months, I had given up on the site. Then, I found Dervish Banges in the summer of 2005, and they designed a wonderful layout (Phillip refer to this layout later on as Version 1.0).

Version 2.0: July 2005 - September 2007
Version 2.0 is our previous layout. Version 1.0 had allot less content than now and the layout was a blue and grey theme. As you can tell, this version is much better than the previous one, and I plan to keep the version that you see now, as long as possible. In the middle of Version 2.0, Phillip got a very busy schedule so was not able to keep up on the site and so he passed it on to the current webmaster Chris where he will continue to run the site and keep it open.

Version 3.0: September 2007 - Present
Version 3.0 is the version that you are looking at now! Isn't it sexy? Yes it is! Yet again, with a new version comes a new layout, and new content, with version 3.0 we will be partnering with allot of websites to help create a sort of Harry Potter network. Keep a close watch on the website to see the new updates!

Looking into the Future
As the site has been growing, I am looking forward to it's continued growth. The site has a bright future ahead of itself, and I would like to thank you, the visitor, for making this possible. All of my hard work would have been in vain if you never came along. Thank you.
